• Please note our reception hours are 10am – 7pm. Late check-ins can be arranged with prior notice. Please contact us if you will arrive outside these times.
• We have a maximum stay policy. For the summer and shoulder seasons this is 10 days and 14 days for the winter period. Please contact us via email if you wish to stay longer than 10 days during the ski season.
• Group Bookings. Sorry, we are a small hostel and can’t accept more than 6 people per group. We will have to turn away groups who make multiple bookings, even if it become apparent after check-in.
• Children aged 16 and under are not permitted in shared rooms. All 6 beds must be booked out in a shared room for us to host children. Please contact us prior to booking.
• Room moves may be necessary. We cannot always guarantee that guests from a group booking will be in the same room or any booking will be in the same room for the duration of the stay, though we will always try our best!
• For Xmas we require a minimum stay of the 24th & 25th of December. Sorry, we cannot accept check-in or check-outs on Xmas Day.

• For New Year reservations – Queenstown can get crazy at New Year so it’s important to us that we remain a chilled out hostel, and we like to give our staff a break to enjoy the festive period. Therefore, we require a 4-night minimum stay for NY from Dec 30th (there are no exceptions to this).  Cancellations within 48hrs of arrival, or failure to arrive on or before the 30th will see all four nights charged and the entire booking cancelled.  Guests are welcome to leave early, however there are no refunds as we do not remake the beds until Jan 3rd.  We do not accept groups of more than 3 people for these nights (families excluded), at check-in we will turn away groups who try to get around this by booking independently.

Please note: Our brand-new hostel caters to mostly shared rooms for independent travellers. We only have one Double Room available, which is very popular. When booking this room please remember we are a hostel with an emphasis on creating community and interaction; while our rooms are very nice, we’re not a luxury hotel.

Cancellation Policy: Any deposit paid is non-refundable. Reservations not cancelled 48 hours prior to the scheduled arrival date will be subject to charges for one night’s accommodation.  Failure to arrive for the first night will see the cancellation of the entire booking.
